June 2010 - American College of Healthcare Executives Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award

Tim Crowley, FACHE, executive director of network development for The Christ Hospital, received the American College of Healthcare Executives Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award at the Ohio Hospital Association Annual Meeting in Columbus. The Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recognizes ACHE affiliates who are experienced in the field and have significantly contributed toward the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of the goals of ACHE. 

 

May 2010 – 18th Annual Florence Nightengale Awards for Nursing

Dean’s Award recipients:

Patricia Hoerst – Critical Care RN and hemodialysis nurse; created booklet to guide acute on-call nurses in the hemodialysis unit

Susan Siegel – Cardiopulmonary Stepdown Unit, where co-workers have seen her transform into charge nurse, tech, floor nurse and even housekeeper.  One nominator says “You can tell where Susan’s been, because the patients glow from her energy.”
