Targeting Tobacco is a six-week tobacco cessation wellness coaching program customized to target the triggers that send you back to tobacco use.
This program combines the American Cancer Society Freshstart program and the Cooper - Clayton Method to Stopping Smoking.

It meets weekly for five sessions.

This program emphasizes use of nicotine replacement or pharmacological treatment with the use of support group.

Research indicates that the use of the support group increases the chance of quitting tobacco by 40 percent.

Facilitators have been trained in evaluating smoking patterns, introducing behavior modification techniques, leading group discussions and minimizing relapse.

The single most important element in the program is you – and your dedication to fight the addiction to nicotine that makes you want to smoke.

Additional materials may be incorporated to meet individual needs.
