• Internal medicine physicians focus on the prevention and treatment of adult diseases for people 18 or older. • Family medicine physicians focus on treating patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults, men and women, and all medical conditions. They also provide continuous and comprehensive care by coordinating other healthcare services you or your family may need.
• Geriatricians focus on the care of aging adults, 55 years or older. They work with a team of medical specialists and family members to keep chronically ill patients comfortable and at home. • Endocrinologists focus on treating patient of all ages with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.
