Dr. Marc Schneider is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a primary interest in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of shoulder, knee, sports medicine injuries and arthritis. His areas of expertise include arthroscopy, rotator cuff and labral repairs, total knee replacement, total shoulder replacement, ACL reconstruction, cartilage repair, and fractures in adults and children.
Dr. Schneider graduated from Case Western Reserve and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society. After completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Hospitals, he received additional training with world renown surgeons Dr. James Andrews and Dr. William Clancy at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham. Dr. Schneider has provided care for elite collegiate and professional athletes from the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Auburn University, Carolina Panthers, and others.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds additional subspecialty board certification in sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Schneider has volunteered his time to help numerous orthopaedic causes in Cincinnati, including providing sports team coverage for multiple area high schools. He has also played a role in teaching orthopaedic surgery and family practice residents, physical therapists and athletic trainers in the Cincinnati area. Dr. Schneider was voted one of Cincinnati Magazine's “Top Doctors” in 2011.
